How do you locate people?

 
• The sneaker features a Covert Alarm Locator or Panic Button which is pushed by the wearer in the event they are lost or there is a crisis. The emergency signal is received at the company's location services station, ID Conex. Our trained staff then notifies -according to the customer’s previously selected options- the closest relatives and or authorities that there is an emergency and gives the location of the sneaker.

• Consumers are also able to locate loved ones who are missing by calling the ID Conex monitoring station with the unique ID number assigned to each sneaker. This is a separate plan that requires a waiver from the wearer to release the information and the conditions when they are released. ID Conex will then activate its signal to find the sneaker's location. Relatives are immediately called and authorities are notified of the lost individual's location.

Can I find someone via my home computer?

 
• No. The location of anyone wearing the sneakers can only be found via the ID Conex monitoring center. Individual privacy cannot be breached by family, friends, acquaintances, employers, businesses, the government, or those with ill - intent.

Can my husband/wife or anyone else know where I am at all times?

 
• No. The location of the sneakers is always treated as proprietary information by ID Conex. The location of a person wearing the sneakers can only be found in different ways: 1) Someone wearing the sneaker must activate the Covert Alarm Locator or Panic Button or 2) If the wearer signed a waiver to it's privacy only authorized persons can request assisted location or 3) a person is missing (an adult or a child or an Alzheimer's patient), a missing person's report must first be filed with a local police station. The parent or guardian or other specified emergency contact must then call ID Conex. Our trained staff then zeroes in on the exact location of the sneakers at that time.
